My heart feels heavy as I share this.

My uncle a devoted family man and someone who means so much to everyone around him has been living with a lung cancer diagnosis for some time, and his condition has recently progressed to a more advanced stage. As he focuses on treatment and care, our family is facing the emotional reality of letting go of the home and belongings he poured his life into.

To be clear, this decision was his. He has always viewed his life and belongings as a kind of museum believing that everything should continue to live on, even in times of crisis. That is why he chose to release these items at a lower cost, hoping they would go to people who truly appreciate them.

We’re now faced with the tender task of finding new homes for the belongings of a truly lovely man. These aren’t just “things” they carry memories, moments, and pieces of his story. Our hope is that they’ll be passed on to people who will value them just as deeply.
